Timing Is Everything
Prototyping
Prototyping is the initial step in creating a model that closely resembles the actual product. Prototypes allow you to evaluate the design, test the concept, and ensure proper fitting between pieces. This process enables adjustments and improvements before moving to the more expensive tooling stage.

One of the prototyping methods involves carving in wood or clay, depending on the customer's preference, for ducks, geese, or turkeys. The head style, expression, and feather details are intricately carved into each piece to achieve realism.
The finished wood/clay model then undergoes adjustments and approval from our customer before we proceed to the tooling phase.
For electronic circuit boards, simply provide us with the specifications detailing the functions the PCB should perform at various stages. Our design studio will handle the design and logics for you.
Tasks We Collaborate and Oversee
We understand that nobody can be an expert in everything, and we recognize our limits. That's why we partner with reliable vendors for the following items:
Pictures will be provided once the initial carving of a decoy is ready for review. If a 3D CAD drawing is used, a sample of the object will be 3D printed. Pictures or the actual printed sample will then be sent to the client for review.
Methods
Wood Carving
Mallard Hen
One of the prototyping methodologies involves wood carving, with one body for two different head positions.
Fiber Carving
Mallard Drake & Hen
This pair is being crafted in fiber. We will apply a quality paint job to evaluate how the feather details appear before proceeding to the tooling process.
